Apple Releases iOS 11.0.3 To Address Issues Affecting iPhone 6s, 7 And 7 Plus

Apple has just announced a third iOS 11 update, following last week’s iOS 11.0.2 upgrade that was quickly released to resolve the iPhone 8 ‘Cracklegate’ issue.

iOS 11.0.3 will focus on older-generation devices, specifically the iPhone 6s, 7, and 7 Plus, along with some iPad bug fixes.

Apple announced that the update resolves “an issue where audio and haptic feedback would not work on some iPhone 7 and 7 Plus devices.” iOS 11.0.3 will also address an iPhone 6s display issue that causes touch input to be unresponsive after the phones were serviced with inauthentic Apple parts.

The update is available for installation now—and unlike the first iOS 11 version, iOS 11.0.3 should not be causing battery exhaustion and app crashing.
