The company, along with Harris Teeter, USO and Denny Hamlin, decided to celebrate service members by collecting messages of appreciation and place them in bottles for them to read. The members were invited to a special lunch at the Coca-Cola 600, where Robert Irvine prepared the food and thanked for their service.

Among the celebrities were NASCAR drivers Ryan Newman and Joey Logano, who helped present military families with messages of appreciation in a bottle. The families were also gifted tickets to the Coca-Cola 600 and a selected family was given the opportunity to race around a Walmart for a shopping spree with Joey Logano.

The organization said that a group of three teachers will receive free gas for a year and one will win a Toyota Camry. However, at the announcement ceremony, it surprised all three teachers with Camrys instead.
