A vehicle has gone off-road and struck a tree due to a crossing deer, leaving the passenger in a dangerous position. The driver, Jane, awakens from the crash as she hears an OnStar member notify her that emergency services are on the way. They also tell her that they'll stay with her because the last thing she wants is to be alone.

OnStar sees it when others can't. A school bus full of children and a team of bikers race past each other on the road, followed by a fire truck with sirens wailing. OnStar speaks to the fire truck and advises it to turn around -- all three groups passed by a mother and child stuck in their car on the side of the road.

As a boy rides his bike through his neighborhood and waves at the people he passes, the police are in the middle of a car chase for a stolen vehicle. When the car attempts to speed through an intersection where the boy is crossing, the police use OnStar's Stolen Vehicle Slowdown to stop the car and prevent an accident. OnStar says the feature helps drivers get their vehicles back quicker and safer, which makes for a pretty anticlimactic scene.
