In 2012, Major League Baseball pitcher Kenley Jansen was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation or AFib due to an irregular heartbeat. AFib is potentially deadly and can possibly even lead to a stroke. And although Kenley Jansen was in peak physical condition, AFib was a curve ball that life threw at him that he never saw coming. But Jansen was able to get treatment before it developed into something worse, and now he???s back on the mound throwing harder than ever. Kenley Jansen encourages viewers that if they feel something, they should speak up about it. For more information or to learn about the signs of AFib, the American Heart Association encourages those to visit their website.
