Farmers Insurance TV Commercial, 'Hall of Claims: Cactus Calamity'

Published In Insurance

During a tour of the Hall of Claims, Farmers Insurance spokesman J.K. Simmons highlights the "Cactus Calamity" as an example of the many odd claims the insurance company has dealt with. A reenactment shows a backyard barbecue in the desert going awry when a giant cactus topples over and crushes the host's home ... which is ironic since the homeowner had just been bragging about how the cactus must be about 200 years old. This situation gives a new meaning to the word "houseplant"!
