Google Maps TV Commercial, 'Search On 2017'

Google shares the story of Saroo Brierley, the Indian man whose moving story was captured and retold in the 2016 Oscar-nominated film, "Lion," starring Dev Patel. Brierly fell asleep on a train when he was five and, when he woke up, he was far from home. He grew up with an Australian family who adopted him but 25 years later, he tried to figure out where he came from. After scouring Google Maps of the train tracks and the surrounding areas, he finally found something familiar. Seeing the world from above helped him find his way back home, where he met the family he'd lost so many years ago.
