Google takes a striking look back at the year 2016 as defined by what we searched for. Terrorists created panic, the election divided America and we mourned the loss of icons such as Gene Wilder and David Bowie. But amongst the tragedy and seeming chaos, people rallied together, stars were discovered, Olympians inspired and the Cubs won the World Series. Cute animals, cool tricks, Jon Snow and Pokemon Go kept us in good spirits, but the best searches found love.
