Somewhere under the Arctic Ocean, U.S. submarine captain Joe Glass (Butler) is searching for another U.S. submarine in distress when he discovers that a Russian coup is imminent. To prevent another world war from taking place, Glass must lead an elite group of Navy SEALs behind enemy lines, rescue the Russian president from kidnappers all while remaining undetected in enemy waters.
