Larry "Doc" Shepherd reunites with former Marines Sal and Richard Mueller 30 years after they served together in the Vietnam War to bury his son, a young Marine who was killed in the Iraq War. Larry makes a decision to forgo a burial in Arlington National Cemetery and, instead, to take the casket to New Hampshire with the help of his friends. On their trip, the three reminisce about the past and come to terms with shared memories from the war that continue to shape their lives. "Last Flag Flying," in theaters Nov. 3, 2017, is rated R.
