Former President Ronald Reagan gave his final Farewell Address to the nation in 1989. In that speech, he shared his idea of the "Shining City" that, if the need for a wall was there, it had doors open for those who had the will and want to make it to America. Suddenly, the screen fills with Donald Trump calling immigrants rapists, accusing them of bringing crime into the country and saying if he was president, they would be out day one. A picture of Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker pop up as they publicly support the idea of ending birthright citizenship. In today's America, immigrants make up a large part of our workforce and culture and the National Immigration Forum Action Fund wants to protect them.
