In May 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected high school phenom LeBron James with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. During his first press conference, the humble kid from Akron, Ohio declared that he didn't feel any pressure as the top overall pick and that he wouldn't guarantee a championship for the team he was playing for. He also spoke about how hopeful he was that the league accepted him as a person, basketball player and leader. Fifteen seasons later, LeBron's laundry list of achievements includes three NBA championships, four MVP titles, opening a public school for at-risk youths in his hometown and breaking a championship drought for the city of Cleveland that lasted over 52 years.
