The summer heat is taking a toll on this family. A boy's ice cream is melting, his mother can't keep cool with her paper fan and his father is trudging along with a lawnmower in the backyard despite the glaring sun. Everything appears miserable until the father is struck with an idea after his daughter demands to be driven to her friend's house. The lawn is torn up, concrete is poured and a backyard pool is created for his family to cool down in.
