An uneventful first date takes a tragic turn when a black man and woman are pulled over by a police officer for a simple traffic infraction. When the situation escalates, the man shoots the officer in self-defense. Afraid for their lives, the man and woman are forced to go on the run together. Unbeknownst to them, the entire incident has been caught on tape and it's gone viral, placing a spotlight on the duo as a symbol of trauma and grief in a country filled with terror.
