After uncovering a bomb in Centennial Olympic Park during the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, security guard Richard Jewell (Paul Walter Hauser) notifies law enforcement and helps evacuate the area. Despite initially hailed as a hero, his history of being a "police wannabe" makes him a suspect. As investigators and the media attack him, he enlists the services of lawyer Watson Bryant (Sam Rockwell) in the fight to clear his name. "Richard Jewell" hits theaters December 13, 2019.
