Scotland is in turmoil in the wake of William Wallace's victories against the English when Robert the Bruce fails to support the rebellion at a critical moment. He crowns himself king and attempts to take on the rebellion's momentum as his own, but finds that he cannot overcome the might of the English empire alone. "Robert the Bruce" is not rated and hits select theaters on April 16, 2020, with further releases on April 24, 2020.
