Pro golfer Tom Watson cites the late links legend Arnold Palmer as his hero. Palmer took to links golf instantly, recounts Watson, finishing runner-up at his first Open in 1960. He won the following year at Royal Birkdale and again the year after. Watson says that Palmer's passion and ingenuity inspired him and transformed the sport. Rolex is the official timekeeper of the 2017 U.S. Open.
