After a lifetime of perusing his dream of performing onstage in a jazz club, middle school music teacher Joe Gardner (Jamie Foxx) finally sees an opportunity to do just that when he plays an impressive set at the Half Note Club. His aspirations hit a stumbling block, however, when he plummets down an open sewer hole and emerges in the "You Seminar," a development center for unborn souls. Gardner must team up with the cynical 22 (Tina Fey) to find away home before his big night. "Soul" hits theaters November 20, 2020.
