Jeff Bauman is a Bostonian attempting to support and win back the love of his ex-girlfriend Erin as she prepares for the city???s famed marathon. On the day of the run, Bauman is waiting at the finish line with a sign when the pressure cooker devices used in the infamous 2013 Boston Marathon bombings detonate, claiming both of his legs in the wake of the carnage. As he attempts to surmount his injury and walk once more, Bauman collaborates with the police to track down the perpetrators and inspires his community to move forward after the traumatic event.
