As "Black-ish's" Anthony Anderson video chats his real-life mother, she skeptically asks if he switched her service from Verizon to T-Mobile. He did, because T-Mobile has the only nationwide 5G, but she does not take him at his word. Only after video calling him to test the 5G everywhere from the beach to the park and from the movie theater to the night club does she concede and thank him. During Super Bowl LIV, T-Mobile asks all fans to tell their mamas about its 5G service.
