Simba has always looked up to his father, King Mufasa, realizing that one day it will be his royal destiny to be king. Unfortunately, not everyone is on Simba's side. Scar, Mufasa's brother, seeks to take back the throne that was once promised to him, and in the midst of tragedy and betrayal Simba is exiled from the kingdom. Simba has a lot of growing up to do, but with the help of some new friends he just might be able to reclaim the kingdom that is rightfully his. "The Lion King," in theaters July 19, 2019, is rated PG.
