Documentary filmmakers Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi chronicle rock climber Alex Honnold as he attempts to make a perilous free-solo journey up El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. As he prepares for one of the most dangerous ascents imaginable, Honnold must confront the fears of his loved ones and recon with the possibility of failure. "Free Solo," in theaters Sept. 28, 2018, is rated PG-13.
