Claire convinces the skeptical Owen to return to the island that holds the now-destroyed Jurassic World amusement park. Their intentions are noble: they want to save the dinosaurs that are still living there from the imminent demise that awaits them as the island ticks like a time bomb, set to explode. While attempting to capture the ill-fated creatures and safely remove them, danger dogs Owen and Claire at every turn, manifesting itself as stampedes, explosions and volcanic eruptions.
