One Child Nation TV Movie Trailer

American filmmaker Nanfu Wang, who was born in China amid the country's One Child Policy, revisits her homeland after becoming a mother to investigate the ramifications of the infamous edict. What she uncovers is a sordid history of abandoned babies, forced sterilization and government abductions, all of which were carried out by citizens who believed they had no choice in the matter. Wang's documentary "One Child Nation" is rated R and hits theaters August 9, 2019.
