The Trump-Pence administration has just issued a "gag" rule that prohibits health care providers from referring patients for abortion. The AMA (American Medical Association) says this interferes with the confidential patient-physician relationship and conflicts with the ethical obligations of physicians and healthcare providers everywhere.
