At the Shopwell's supermarket, the groceries live in harmony, awaiting the day when a passing shopper will take them to paradise. But, when a sausage named Frank (Seth Rogen) and a bun named Brenda (Kristen Wiig) learn the truth about what happens to purchased food, the duo sets out on a quest to warn their friends back at the store about it before the annual 4th of July sale sees them all eaten up.
