A man furiously drawing on bar napkins is invited to tell his story. One dark and stormy night, he was out at sea alone when he was attacked by the kraken. As his boat snapped in half and the man sunk into the sea, he could only taste seawater and what he describes as the "thick, rich ink of the beast."
