Striving to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional wrestler, Zak (Zack Gottsagen), a young man with Down syndrome, runs away from his nursing home to train with his idol, The Salt Water Redneck (Thomas Haden Church). Along the way, he crosses paths with a runaway outlaw (Shia LaBeouf) and a woman sent by the facility (Dakota Johnson), who join Zak on a journey of self-discovery.
