Visit Philadelphia knows the city has a rich history, and that history was made by those willing to reshape it. Visitors of the President's House will see a glimpse into the the lives of the African-Americans enslaved by President George Washington. One such slave was Elizabeth Freeman, who was the first woman to sue for her freedom.
