The engines in modern vehicles are more efficient than their predecessors, but they also burn hotter and are more susceptible to carbon buildup. To combat this issue, Valvoline developed its Modern Engine Full Synthetic motor oil. The oil is specially formulated to fight excess carbon buildup in cars built in 2012 or newer.
